The G-1 is a classic military flight jacket that has a long historical background. It was originally designed for the United States Navy during World War II and has since become an iconic piece of aviation and fashion history. First issued as the M422-A in 1938, then as the AN-J-3a in 1943, this leather flight jacket was worn by Navy and Marine Corps flight crews during the most heroic air battles in history.
